VASCO Standalone Tool #11 - Generate standard letters without mail merge

VA School Certifying Official
This suite generates formatted student letters from seven built-in templates: welcome and initial certification, enrollment confirmation, status change notification, certification termination, SAP warning, program completion, and a general information response. Fill in the student, program, benefit chapter, effective date, and your signature block, and it renders a dated letter on a simple letterhead that you can print or copy to the clipboard.
School Certifying Officials use these letters to meet the notification side of certification work: confirming a certification was submitted, warning a student who is failing satisfactory academic progress, or documenting a termination that was reported to VA. The SAP warning template cites 38 CFR 21.4277 and spells out the probation consequence, which is exactly the paper trail a compliance survey looks for.
Tips: keep a copy of every letter in the student file, since the letter is your evidence the student was notified; use the additional information field to state the specific facts (dates, credits, GPA) rather than sending the generic text alone; and send status change and termination letters within days of reporting the change to VA so the dates line up.
