Using VASCO Assistant
What is VASCO Assistant?
An offline desktop app built by a practicing VASCO to handle calculations, deadline tracking, and compliance records. It is in pre-launch.
VASCO Assistant is a desktop application for School Certifying Officials that brings the calculations, tracking, and record keeping of our job into one place. I built it because I was tired of juggling spreadsheets, sticky notes, and memory to keep certifications accurate and on time. It is currently in pre-launch, with a waitlist open.
What it helps with
- Training time, rate of pursuit, and unit conversions for every chapter.
- Benefit calculations such as MHA, book stipend, and Yellow Ribbon checks.
- Deadline tracking so certifications and amendments do not slip.
- Compliance tracking for SAP, 85/15 monitoring, and survey preparation.
- Organized student records that are ready when a surveyor asks.
It does not replace Enrollment Manager. You still certify through the VA's system. VASCO Assistant is the workspace where you get the numbers right and keep the paper trail before and after you submit.
